PARIS PHOTOGRAPHER
I worked in photojournalism and studied documentary / art / journalism photography in St Petersburg. I have a passion about working with people, telling their story in the city through the lens. I have great knowledge of Paris and its best places for shootings.
I try to catch the mood of my clients, their style and their feelings about the city. I’m truly interested in their story and always ready to share my own — that’s where they forget that we’re working and take the shooting as a friendly meeting. Thus, the photos become lively and ambient
Let’s speak with Daria
Being a photographer is a definite life choice, and photographers, being artists, often question themselves. What prompted you to do it ?
I started working as photographer 12 years ago. I studied Art History and have always been interested in creative professions. I tried different types of photography, which helped me not to burn out and keep doing what passions me the most.
Being able to choose which subjects to photograph, from nature to real estate via businesses, what made you choose couples and families photography-in addition to wedding photography?
I love taking pictures of people, see their sincere live emotions. They bring their positive energy to the photo shoot, so it charges and inspires me.
To date what is the photo shoot you are most proud of and why ?
The most difficult and unobvious in our profession is to have long-term clients. It’s hard to choose one photo shoot, but what makes me proud is when they come back and book another shoot with me.
Why do you think a professional photo shoot during a vacation is the best memory a couple-a family-a single traveler-can take home ?
These pictures will stick in memory much better than other thousands of pictures taken by phone.
What is the photo shoot you would like to do that you haven’t done yet ?
A sunset photo shoot on film on the ocean shore somewhere in Brittany.
