Jayson
TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi, my name is Jayson
I’m Jayson, a freelance photographer and videographer based in Tokyo. My work is about noticing quiet, honest moments, a look, a gesture, a shared breath, and preserving them with care. Whether it’s a proposal under the shadow of Mt. Fuji, a walk through the streets of Tokyo, or time spent with a family discovering Japan, I try to tell each story as it naturally unfolds. I’m drawn to light, movement, and the emotions that linger between words, the details that make each memory feel alive.
Dream vacation: Maldives.
Favorite food & drink: Sushi.
Favorite way of travel: Car.
Spoken Languages: English, Filipino
MY STYLE
My style blends cinematic storytelling with genuine emotion. I focus on the natural flow of interactions, quiet gestures, and the atmosphere that makes each place unique. Many of my sessions take place in iconic Japanese settings, such as Mt. Fuji, Tokyo’s cityscapes, and traditional shrines, framed in a way that connects people with their surroundings. I’m drawn to natural light and the changing seasons, the softness of cherry blossoms in spring, the colors of autumn leaves, or the glow of city lights at night. These elements shape imagery that feels timeless, romantic, and alive. My approach is warm and unobtrusive, allowing couples and families to feel at ease while I capture real, unplanned moments that reflect who they are and how they connect.
